Yes, that would be my guess. Mainly because the dogs do not have hands like humans, they use their mouth and teeth, the tip is. So, the battle with the head so that when two dogs in a fight, will fight the two with the head or teeth, and both hold a lot of damage to the neck, ears, eyes, nose, chin and shoulders.
